Design

In the design process, each species is chosen with intention for it to reach its full potential. We plan for the irrigation and maintenance needed to support the growth of the individual varieties selected, and for the garden to harmonize and flourish as a whole.

Plant

We plant for instant impact and long term growth. Our team of installers are professional, polite, tidy and dedicated to creating a work of art with nature. We make sure our gardens are planted correctly and our plants are handled gently, to give them the best start to flourish over time.

Grow

Once a garden is installed, we immediately water it to help it root and acclimate to its new home, and begin our weekly maintenance ritual. Each week, our team meticulously cares for each garden in our purview. As a team of designers, horticultural experts and plant enthusiasts, we then review the challenges, successes and opportunities each garden presents, and we strategize to implement the best plan of action possible - many minds and hands come together to optimize the growth and beauty of our gardens.

Why should we hire Luna for maintenance?

We offer a holistic landscape service in that we design, plant and grow our projects. Hiring us for maintenance ensures your garden reaches its full potential. Beyond that, we are always strategizing on how your garden and location can evolve, so you essentially have a Landscape Architect and team of Biophilic Designers constantly strategizing on how to improve your space. We understand that your investment in plants is also an investment in your marketing strategy, or an investment in your way of life, we act as partners to our clients in that way, ensuring flourishing gardens.

How do I know my garden will grow?

Our standards are very high in what each of our clients garden looks like. We keep indoor and outdoor locations pristine and always photo ready. The proof can be seen at any of our clients locations. We have horticultural expertise through each level of our businesses, and many heads and hands go into making sure your garden is flourishing.

How often do you visit your locations?

Weekly maintenance is our standard agreement. We find this consistency is what helps us to catch and solve problems beforehand, giving us the time to achieve maximum growth and beauty.

What if a plant isn’t doing well?

Your maintenance agreement with us serves as insurance on your plant investment. We replace any plants that are suffering before they are an eye sore. We analyze why the plant didn’t thrive and replace it with a comparable species as needed.

Do you offer anything that doesn’t require maintenance?

Yes! We have an entire line of botanical offerings that require no care. These options, such as moss walls, are often used for franchises and businesses that want minimal maintenance with guaranteed lasting botanical beauty. We also offer low maintenance plant options such as xeriscapes with beautiful cacti and succulent varieties that require little water and attention.

What if I don’t use your maintenance services?

We cannot guarantee that gardens we do not maintain will flourish. As a licensed Landscape Architecture firm, also certified in horticulture, we do design each garden for success, choosing the right species for the right place, planning the correct irrigation and installing everything gently and expertly… but when we are providing living plants there is always a level of care required that is best managed by experts. We find that commercial spaces have the priority of running their business and can’t always prioritize their gardens. . Horticulture is an art and a science that requires attention, care, strategy, consistency and adaptability. This is why its best to work directly with us to ensure you have enthusiastic and passionate horticultural experts focusing on the success of your garden consistently.

Do you take on maintenance clients who already have a planted garden?

We do! We often will assess the space first to make sure our goals align with the clients. Most clients who hire us after a garden is installed have a budget for us to ‘revamp and revitalize’ their existing space. We’ve seen a lot of success in helping struggling gardens truly thrive over time.

What about hurricanes, freezes and unforeseen damage?

We do not guarantee your plants will survive extreme weather conditions, or through damage done by outside forces, however, we do give customized hurricane and freeze plans to each of our clients. You then have the choice of hiring us to implement these prevention plans, or activating your staff to do so. We have had a successful survival rate so far. We are also able to plan for replacements quickly, and can provide you with a quick estimate after a natural disaster that you can file with your insurance.
